Hopewell’s Premises were Awarded Certificates of Quality Water Recognition Scheme and Flushing Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme

21 Aug 2014

The premises of Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) participated “Quality Water Recognition Scheme” of Water Supplies Department (WSD). In recognition of our achievements in maintaining the plumbing system properly, Hopewell Centre, Wu Chung House, QRE Plaza and GARDENEast were awarded Silver Certificates, and KITEC, Panda Place and Broadwood Twelve were awarded Blue Certificates. In addition, Hopewell Centre was also awarded Blue Certificate of "Flushing Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme".

“Quality Water Recognition Scheme” aims to enable local residents and overseas visitors to have greater confidence of the water quality at the tap; strengthen the capability of building management agents to achieve value-added performance in meeting the needs of consumers with respect to quality of tap water; give recognition to those building management agents who can demonstrate consistent compliance of the prescribed criteria under the Scheme; and assist the owners, operators and building management agents to conduct self-assessments on plumbing conditions and to identity areas for necessary maintenance. Continuous participation with 3 years or more but less than 5 years will receive Silver Certificates while new participation or continuous participation with less than 3 years will receive Blue Certificates. WSD has introduced "Flushing Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme" in July 2013.
