Hopewell Sponsored HKOSA Project Resonance for the Fourth Consecutive Year

28 Jul 2014

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) sponsored Project Resonance of Hong Kong Outstanding Students’ Association (HKOSA) for the fourth consecutive year. The programme aims to arouse students’ interest towards cultural diversity in Hong Kong. This year, eight local subcultures have been chosen, including Walled villages, Fishing villages, Old Hong Kong in 1980s, The Philippines, Indian culture, Indonesian culture, Thai culture and Pakistanis culture. A series of activities were organized to enhance students’ awareness and understanding on local subcultures. KITEC became the venue sponsor of the Carnival Showcase held on Monday, 28 July 2014.

Hong Kong Outstanding Students’ Association was founded in 1987 by the awardees and finalists of the prestigious Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award, which is currently held by the Youth Arch Foundation. With over 900 members, the Association is one of the largest and oldest student-run, non-profit organizations in Hong Kong.
