PROGRAM DETAILS

“Master Serve - Hospitality Trainee Program ” is a 24-month program, tailored to develop those who have the passion to serve in the hospitality industry. Hopewell needs many talents, not only to continuously upgrade the service level, but also to prepare for the business operations of future Hopewell Centre II (a 1,000-room conference hotel in Wan Chai).

Hopewell has been keen on talent development, “Management Trainee Program” and “Summer Internship Program” have been running for years and reaching maturity. We aspire to extend this belief into the hospitality business, identify talents with interests and passion towards hotel frontline work and develop them to be “Master Serve", paving way to a rewarding career.

Every Trainee will participate in a week orientation activities to facilitate their understanding about the Company, Core business and Culture. In the next 18 months (half year as a module), they will be assigned to different job duties for training, which cover

	Rooms (e.g. Front Desk, Concierge)
	Food & Beverage (e.g. Chinese & Western restaurants, Banquet)
	Convention & Exhibition Operations
	Cinema Operations
	Serviced Apartment

We will meet you after each module to discuss with you both difficulties and interesting experiences that you have encountered. We are willing to listen to your thoughts and exchange ideas. We hope this process will help you understand more about your interests and strengths, and identify directions for your career development.

From the 19th month onwards, we will arrange you to focus and work at one department according to your interest, performance and company's business needs. This will be a great opportunity for you to acquire more practical experience and apply what you have learnt. In this last six-month period, you will also be responsible to plan and execute a service upgrade project.

After the two-year training, outstanding Trainee will enter into another stage and become a supervisor, leading your team to face upcoming challenges !
