Hopewell was Awarded at “The 7th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program”     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received “Merit Award (Volunteer Category)” and “Corporate Citizenship Logo (Enterprise Category)” at the award ceremony of “The 7th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” in recognition of our continued efforts on sustainability.   “Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” is co-organised by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE), aims at raising public awareness towards corporate citizenship, encouraging corporate to fulfill social responsibilities and integrating citizenship concept into business model and operation, and ultimately promote sustainability of economy, society and environment.   Hopewell Received Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS) Label from World Green Organisation (WGO)     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received “Green Office” Label and “Better World Company” Label from World Green Organisation (WGO) and the United Nations Millennium Development Goals in recognition of our efforts on driving towards a low carbon and green office.   Hopewell was Awarded Certificate of Appreciation in the 6th Friends of EcoPark     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and GARDENEast Management Limited have been awarded Certificate of Appreciation in the 6th Friends of EcoPark from the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) in recognition of our support for EcoPark tenants and to encourage further collaboration to enhance the local recycling industry.   Launched by the EPD in 2010, the Friends of EcoPark scheme aims to help EcoPark tenants extend their waste sourcing and collection network and promote their recycled products by fostering partnership between the private and public sectors and EcoPark tenants. The number of participating companies and organisations has been increasing, and the awarded companies and organisations comprise a wide range of businesses in sectors including hotels, catering, engineering, logistics, retail, cleansing and property management, as well as a number of organisations from the public sector.   Hopewell was Honoured with “Family-Friendly Employer” for the Third Consecutive Time     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received Family-Friendly Employer 2015/16, Special Mention 2015/16 (Gold) and Award for Breastfeeding Support 2015/16 by Family Council at 2015/16 Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme in recognition of the Group's long term commitment in implementing family-friendly employment policies and practices.   Panda Place Management Limited Received Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards – EcoPartner     Panda Place Management Limited of Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) was awarded Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2015 – EcoPartner at Launching Ceremony of BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2016 in recognition of their supports and efforts in environmental protection.   The Awards was co-organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, aimed to encourage and recognize enterprises of manufacturing and services sectors operating in the pan PRD region for their improved environmental performance.   It received a total of 451 submissions from companies in the manufacturing and services sectors operating in the pan Pearl River Delta (PRD) region to showcase their environmental endeavours. Among the companies presented with certificates of EcoChallenger (for the completion of three environmental projects or more) and EcoPartner (for the completion of one or two environmental projects).   Hopewell was Awarded “Outstanding Walk Team Award” by the 2015/2016 Walks for Million     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Limited received “Outstanding Walk Team Award” and Certificate of Appreciation of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk respectively at the 2015/2016 Walks for Millions Cheque and Award Presentation Ceremony to acknowledge the participation of 109 employees, their friends and relatives. The donation will support the services of 24 social welfare agencies in providing "Family and Child Welfare Services".   Hopewell was Awarded Best Investor Relations (IR) Company     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received Best IR Company – Mid Cap in the HKIRA 2nd Investor Relations Award Presentation Ceremony in recognition of our excellence and achievements in investor relations.   HKIRA 2nd Investor Relations Awards was organized by Hong Kong Investor Relations Association. It aims to promote excellence in investor relations practices and advocate the setting of international standards in investor relations for the companies listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.   This year, more than 780 nominations in various award categories have been received. Out of approximately 300 Hong Kong listed companies nominated, 43 listed companies, including 12 large cap, 16 mid cap, 12 small cap and 3 IPO companies received awards from different categories.   Hopewell was Awarded “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme – Manpower Developer 1st” by ERB     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) was awarded “Manpower Developer 1st (2010-2018)” by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) at the presentation ceremony of the 6th “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme”. Hopewell received this award for the fourth time in recognition of our Group’s outstanding performance on manpower training and development strategies.   The "ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme" was launched by the ERB in December 2009. The Scheme aims to promote and cultivate a corporate culture focusing on manpower training and development among organizations, raise the awareness of the employers and employees of the importance of on-the-job training and continuous upgrading and make it to become a common value.   Hopewell and Ten Subsidiaries Awarded in the Caring Company Logo     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and ten of its subsidiaries have been awarded the Caring Company Logo 2016/2017 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of our continuous commitment to the community, the employees and the environment.   Among these, Hopewell Holdings Limited, Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Limited, Hopewell Real Estate Agency Limited, Hopewell Property Management Co., Limited, Hopewell Centre Management Limited, KITEC Management Limited, Panda Place Management Limited and IT Catering & Services Limited have received the honours for more than five consecutive years, which is the largest number of ‘5 Years Plus Caring Company Logo’ garnered by Hopewell at any one time. Panda Hotel has been awarded the honour for more than ten consecutive years and received the accolade of ‘10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo’.   Hopewell Received Gold in “Save Energy Mission” and Bronze in “Save Resources Mission” from Friends of the Earth (HK)     Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported Earth Partner organized by Friends of the Earth (HK) again. By participating two of the Green Missions, we received Gold in the “Save Energy Mission” and Bronze in the “Save Resources Mission” in recognition of our supports and efforts in environmental protection. The programme encourages everyone to use resources efficiently, reduce, reuse and recycle waste and minimize the impacts to the planet.   The grading was based on the data provided by the Group including the volume of reducing usage and increasing in recycling of the second half of 2014 and 2015. According to the criteria on grading, 6% or above in the volume of reducing usage and increasing in recycling was judged as third level, Gold, while 2% to 3.9% in the percentage reduced in electricity consumption was judged as first level, Bronze.   Hopewell Real Estate Agency Garnered the Excellent Corporate Partnership Award     Hopewell Real Estate Agency Limited received the Excellent Corporate Partnership Award granted by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals at the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Corporate Partnership Recognition Ceremony 2016 in recognition of the long-standing partnership with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.   Starting from February 2015, Hopewell Real Estate Agency Limited devotes to support iBakery, the social enterprise of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. We provided venue sponsorship to iBakery for opening pop up store at Hopewell Centre in Wan Chai and Panda Place in Tsuen Wan.   Hopewell Centre and Wu Chung House Received Bronze Awards from “Yan Oi Tong Plastic Recycling Partnership Scheme 2015-2016”     Hopewell Centre and Wu Chung House of Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support Yan Oi Tong Plastic Recycling Partnership Scheme organized by Yan Oi Tong EcoPark Plastic Resources Recycling Centre.   During the period, Hopewell Centre and Wu Chung House collected over 1,100 kg of plastic waste respectively and both received Bronze awards in Housing Estate and C&I Building category as recognition of their outstanding environmental performance on plastic recycling programme.   “Yan Oi Tong Plastic Recycling Partnership Scheme” aims to encourage community and social enterprise to promote the plastic recycling programme, thus enhancing the environmental awareness of the public and organizations.
