Hopewell participated in TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2016

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) formed one 2-member Hopewell Social Club team to take part in TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2016. This charity run organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals was held at the Central and Western District Promenade on Sunday, 31 January 2016. Hopewell team and athletes with intellectual disabilities turned out to compete 3km in the iRun, promoting the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
 
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals organized “iRun – Hong Kong Special Marathon” since 2011, promoting the healthy lifestyle and the active sport participation of the people with intellectual disabilities and to advocate the message of community inclusion as well.

Hopewell Continued to Support Walk for Millions

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support “Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk” held on 10 Jan. About 110 employees and their families set off from Hong Kong Stadium to finish the 10-km walkathon to Aberdeen Country Park. Every participant who completed the walk received a certificate of appreciation from the Community Chest. Panda Hotel also prepared a lunch at the destination to thank for our participating staff.
 
"Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk" aims to raise fund for "Family and Child Welfare Services", to maintain and strengthen family bonding and to assist the family members establishing mutual support. In addition to the company’s donation, Hopewell also matched the staff donations dollar-for-dollar.

Hopewell was Awarded at “The 6th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program”

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received “Merit Award (Enterprise Category)” and “Corporate Citizenship Logo (Volunteer Category)” at the award ceremony of “The 6th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” in recognition of our continued efforts on sustainability.
 
“Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” is co-organised by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE), aims at raising public awareness towards corporate citizenship, encouraging corporate to fulfill social responsibilities and integrating citizenship concept into business model and operation, and ultimately promote sustainability of economy, society and environment.

Hopewell Participated St. James’ Cup Kin-Ball Charity Tournament

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) formed two 4-member Hopewell Social Club teams to participate St. James’ Cup Kin-Ball Charity Tournament. This charity tournament organized by St. James’ Settlement was held at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai on 15 November 2015. Donation raised will be allocated to support the “Grant-in-aid” Brightens Children’s Lives Charity Project. The Project aims at improving the learning conditions of underprivileged children.
 
Hopewell team won champion and Second Runner-up out of 9 teams.

Hopewell Sponsors Lingnan University Fundraising Walkathon 2015

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) devotes to support youth development. This year, Hopewell supported “Lingnan University Fundraising Walkathon 2015” as a Gold Sponsor held on 25 October 2015 at Kwun Tong Promenade. This event organized by Lingnan University in support of Lingnan University’s whole-person development programmes and the “First Generation University Education Fund”. This fund provides students with exchange, internship and subsidized hostelry on campus.
