Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) took part in the Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS) and received “Green Office” Label, “Eco-Healthy Workplace” Label and “certificate of recognition” from World Green Organisation (WGO) in recognition of our efforts on driving towards a low carbon and green office.

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) demonstrated long-term commitment in corporate sustainability and continuous support to the conservation works conducted by WWF-Hong Kong. This year, Hopewell joined WWF-Hong Kong Corporate Membership Programme for the seventh consecutive year as “Silver Member”.

Hopewell Supported The Community Chest Green Day for the Sixth Consecutive Year

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported The Community Chest Green Day for the sixth consecutive year organized by The Community Chest of Hong Kong. It aims to spread the message of “Act Green and Live Green” and encourage a green lifestyle. All donations received is allocated to support “Medical and Health Services” provided by the Chest's member agencies.

Hopewell Participated in “Night Safari” tour of WWF-Hong Kong

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) joined “Night Safari” tour at Mei Po guided by WWF-Hong Kong on 10 June to strengthen the engagement of the staff on the environmental protection.
 
19 participants took part in the night journey, watching the enchanting sunset and discovering some of Mai Po's nocturnal animals such as roosting birds, bats and fireflies at night to know more about the ecosystem.

Hopewell was Awarded Waste Check Charter Waster Check Promotional Partner Award – Class of Good

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) signed the Waste Check Charter organized by the Environmental Protection Department. Hopewell Centre, E-Max and Panda Place were received Waste Check Charter Waster Check Promotional Partner Award – Class of Good and Waster Check Commitment Award in recognition of the Group’s effort in holding waste reduction publicity and educational activities.
 
The 18-month Waste Check Charter was organized by the Environmental Protection Department with the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) serving as the executive agent. A total of 118 signatory organizations participated. Among them, 67 signatory organizations were received with the Waste Check Promotional Partner Awards. The signatory organizations regularly measured the quantity of waste sent for disposal and recyclables collected and formulated concrete plans to achieve their waste reduction goals.
