Hopewell Supported Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2018 Again | | 25 Mar 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2018 held on Saturday, 25 March 2018 at Tai Tong, Yuen Long. This event organized by the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day Organizing Committee is the largest annual tree planting event in Hong Kong. It aims to promote green Hong Kong and raise public awareness on environmental protection, hill fire prevention and tree preservation.
37 HH Social Club volunteers comprising Hopewell staff, their families and friends, joined together with over 1,700 volunteers from various government departments, organizations and companies to take part in planting tree seedlings, planted around 8,000 tree seedlings of various species at the assigned tree planting area in Tai Tong to build a greener environment. |
Hopewell Continued to Support WWF Earth Hour | | 24 Mar 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) support WWF Earth Hour in Hong Kong again by turning off exterior decorative lights of six major properties of the Group, including Hopewell Centre, QRE Plaza, GARDENEast, KITEC, Panda Hotel and Panda Place for an hour, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on 24th March 2018. Also, Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Company Limited’s joint venture companies, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Superhighway Company Limited and Guangdong Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Superhighway Company Limited switched off the lights at the staff dormitory buildings in Guangdong province during the period. |

Hopewell Supported “Walk for The Green Earth” Again | | 13 Jan 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) sponsored staff to participate in the “Walk for The Green Earth” charity walk organized by The Green Earth. They walked from Pak Tam Chung of Sai Kung to Sai Kung High Island Reservoir by completing 11km (Intense Night Walk) journey.
Through the walk, the participants can enjoy the beautiful scene of Sai Kung East Country Park from daylight to sunset. The walk is also a green event to spread the core value of The Green Earth. The raised fund will be used to support The Green Earth’s environmental campaigns and education programmes and sustain their vision and mission in promoting a non-wasteful green lifestyle.

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received “Merit Award (Enterprise Category)” and “Corporate Citizenship Logo (Volunteer Category)” at the award ceremony of “The 8th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” in recognition of our continued efforts on sustainability.
“Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” is co-organised by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE). The Program aims to raise public awareness towards corporate citizenship by organizing a series of activities, encourage corporate to fulfill social responsibilities and integrate citizenship concept into business model and operation, and ultimately promote sustainability of economy, society and environment.
