Hopewell Awarded Social Capital Builder Logo Award | | 15 Dec 2020
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received the "Social Capital Builder Logo Award 2020-22" at the CIIF Forum cum SCB Awards Presentation Ceremony 2020 in recognition of the Group’s contribution to the development of social capital in Hong Kong.
The biennial "Social Capital Builder Award" has organised by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Hong Kong Labour and Welfare Bureau since 2012. The Award aims to recognize individuals and corporates/organisations who have contributed to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, providing an opportunity for various sectors of the community to witness and share the achievements in building social capital in Hong Kong. |
HH Social Club Received Certificate of Appreciation from Agency for Volunteer Service | | 14 Dec 2020
HH Social Club was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Agency for Volunteer Service in recognition of our volunteer team’s involvement in community service in 2019. HH Social Club volunteers clocked up a total of 1,514 service hours during the year. |
Hopewell Continued to Support Mooncakes for Charity | | 08 Sep 2020
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported Mooncakes for Charity organized by The Community Chest of Hong Kong. Two kinds of charity mooncakes will be offered at charity prices. Hong Kong Wing Wah Cake Shop will donate HK$50 to the Community Chest of Hong Kong for every box. All donations will be allocated to the 165 social welfare member agencies supported by the Chest.

Hopewell Brought Care and Festive Joy to Thousand Elderly for the Tenth Consecutive Year | | 30 Jun 2020
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and St. James’ Settlement (“SJS”) co-organized the Tuen Ng Volunteer Programme for the tenth consecutive year, benefitting over 9,000 singleton elderly since its launch. This year, Hopewell donated 1,100 HH Social Club protective packs for the elderly comprising personal hygienic products, daily necessities and health information card, such as surgical masks, alcohol-based hand sanitizer and wet wipes, bringing warmth to the elderly.
Nearly 40 HH Social Club volunteers, their families and friends made calls to 150 elderly in June, taking care of their mental health and living conditions. The volunteers also shared the health tips and introduced appropriate methods of wearing surgical masks and washing hands, raising their awareness on personal hygiene. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and ten of its subsidiaries have been awarded the Caring Company Logo 2020/2021 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of our continuous commitment to the community, the employees and the environment.
This year, Panda Place Management Limited has been awarded the honour for more than ten consecutive years and received the accolade of ‘10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo’. |
