Hopewell Organized “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme – Horse Riding Day” | | 17 Mar 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) collaborated with St. James’ Settlement for the 3th conservative year in co-organizing “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme”. The first activity of this year was the Horse Riding Day at Yuen Long International Riding Centre. 54 students from The Methodist Church, Hong Kong Asbury Methodist Primary School and the children of Hopewell’s staff joined the activity to experience horse riding and learn the basic techniques. They also visited horse stable to know more about the living habits of horses. |

Hopewell Continued to Support Walk for Millions | | 14 Jan 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support “Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk” held on 14 January. More than 90 employees and their families set off from Hong Kong Stadium to finish the 10-km Walkathon at Aberdeen Country Park. All participants each received a certificate of appreciation. Panda Hotel also prepared a lunch for our participating staff at the destination at the finish point.
This event – now in its 48th year – is the Chest’s longest running, signature fund-raiser. The funds raised will be designated for "Family and Child Welfare Services", to maintain and strengthen family bonding and to assist the family members in establishing mutual support. In addition to the company’s donation, Hopewell also matched the staff donations dollar-for-dollar. |
Hopewell Participated in TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2018 | | 14 Jan 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) formed one 2-member Hopewell Social Club team to take part in TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2018 organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. The run was held at the Central and Western District Promenade. Hopewell team and athletes with intellectual disabilities turned out to complete 3km in the iRun, promoting the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals organized “iRun – Hong Kong Special Marathon” since 2011, promoting the healthy lifestyle and the active sport participation of the people with intellectual disabilities and to advocate the message of community inclusion as well.

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received “Merit Award (Enterprise Category)” and “Corporate Citizenship Logo (Volunteer Category)” at the award ceremony of “The 8th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” in recognition of our continued efforts on sustainability.
“Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” is co-organised by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE). The Program aims to raise public awareness towards corporate citizenship by organizing a series of activities, encourage corporate to fulfill social responsibilities and integrate citizenship concept into business model and operation, and ultimately promote sustainability of economy, society and environment.
