Hopewell Awarded “Family-Friendly Employer” for the Fourth Consecutive Time | | 08 Dec 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received the "Family-Friendly Employers", "Special Mention (Gold)" and the "Award for Breastfeeding Support" in the 2017/18 Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme ("the scheme") jointly organised by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Family Council. These awards recognise the Group's continual efforts in implementing family-friendly employment policies and practices.
The scheme recognises employers that demonstrate a family-friendly spirit and encourage them to implement family-friendly employment policies and practices and to raise the awareness of the importance of family core values, and aims to foster a pro-family culture and environment. |
Hopewell Continued to Support Wan Chai Festival 2018 | | 02 Dec 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) sponsored the Wan Chai Festival which was held once every four years. The theme of the Closing Ceremony this year was "Energy.Love @ Wan Chai".
“2018 Wan Chai Festival Closing Ceremony Energy.Love @ Wan Chai - Community 5-km Run” (“the Run”) was organised as one of the celebrative events in the Closing Ceremony. Hopewell sent one 10-member team to participate in the Run which was held on 2 Dec 2018. The team won third runner-up in the "Corporate team" category. |
Hopewell Received Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS) Label from World Green Organisation (WGO) for the Fifth Consecutive Year | | 19 Nov 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) has participated in the Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS) since 2013. Hopewell was awarded the "Green Office" Label, "Eco-Healthy Workplace" Label and "Certificate of Recognition" from the World Green Organisation (WGO) to recognize our efforts on driving towards a low carbon and green office. |
Hopewell Participated in Reserve Ranger Experience @ Mai Po | | 17 Nov 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) had participated in Reserve Ranger Experience @ Mai Po which was organized by WWF-Hong Kong.
23 volunteers took part in an eco-guided visit in Mai Po Nature Reserve. During the visit, our volunteers learnt about conservation of wetlands such as Mai Po and the active management of the ecosystem such as removing harmful invasive species or making pathways and trails safe and accessible. This activity also provided them a valuable experience to take care and maintain the habitat by clearing invasive plants such as in order to understand daily conservation practices in the wetland. |
Hopewell Sponsored Heifer Race to Feed 2018 for the Fifth Consecutive Year | | 11 Nov 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) has supported Heifer Race to Feed 2018 for the fifth consecutive year. Two 5-member HH Social Club teams were formed and participated in Heifer Race to Feed 2018. This charity run was co-organized by Heifer Hong Kong and Sportsoho Media Limited and held at the Sha Tin Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Pak Shek Kok Promenade on 11 November 2018 to support Heifer Hong Kong’s poverty alleviation project in Mainland China. |
