Hopewell Received Social Capital Builder Logo Award | | 18 Dec 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) was awarded the "Social Capital Builder Logo Award 2018-20" at the SCB Awards Presentation Ceremony 2018 in recognition of the Group’s contribution to the development of social capital in Hong Kong.
The biennial "Social Capital Builder Award" was first organised by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau in 2012. The Award aims to recognise individuals and corporates/organisations who have contributed to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, providing an opportunity for various sectors of the community to witness and share the achievements in building social capital in Hong Kong. |
Hopewell Joined “Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance” | | 18 Dec 2018
Demonstrating long-term commitment to corporate sustainability, shopping malls and shops under Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) joined “Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance” and pledged to adopt green measures in daily operations.
E-Max, Hopewell Centre, Panda Place, MENU, Xi Shan and 1563' at the East Live House & Restaurant pledged to adopt green measures, including better use of energy, better use of water, reuse and recycling of materials, green procurement and green social behaviour.
"Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance" aims to provide an effective platform to foster a green shopping environment by encouraging stronger collaboration between shopping mall operators and shop tenants to adopt green practices and create an eco-centric business environment. |
Hopewell Awarded “Corporate Citizenship Logo” | | 14 Dec 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received “Corporate Citizenship Logo - Enterprise Category and Volunteer Category” at “The 9th Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards Presentation Ceremony” in recognition of our outstanding achievements in implementing corporate social responsibility.
Co-organised by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE), “Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” aims to raise public awareness towards corporate citizenship, encouraging corporates to fulfill social responsibilities and integrate citizenship concept into business model and operation, ultimately promoting sustainability of the economy, society and environment. |
HH Social Club Received Certificate of Appreciation from Agency for Volunteer Service | | 09 Dec 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation by Agency for Volunteer Service in recognition of our volunteer team’s involvement in community service in 2018. HH Social Club volunteers contributed a total of 2,442 hours to the community in the past year. |
Hopewell Sponsored “Happy Family Poon Choi Feast” for the Seventh Consecutive Year | | 08 Dec 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported the Happy Family Poon Choi Banquet, which was held at Southorn Playground, for the seventh consecutive year by sponsoring 2,000 sets of HH Social Club gift packs for senior citizens and residents of Wan Chai. The gift packs contained five daily care items including tooth brush set, Vaseline, white flower embrocation, alcohol-based hand sanitizer and hand cream.
The event was co-organised by the Community Building Committee of Wan Chai District Council, St. James’ Settlement and Wan Chai Methodist Centre for the Seniors, promoting community spirit.
