"I have been deeply touched by the culture of unity here at Hopewell."

In 1993, when the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Superhighway was completed, a bicycle charity fundraiser was organized as part of the official opening ceremony. The fundraising event benefited numerous local charities to further care for the needy.

During the construction of the highway, Sir Gordon and Lady Wu made frequent site visits. They not only followed the construction progress, but also built up staff morale and encouraged unity. The completion and opening of the highway within the contract period was thus a collaborative achievement.

Through the years, I have been deeply touched by the culture of unity here at Hopewell. This encourages staff to enthusiastically work and overcome challenges together. It is my hope that going forward, our team will continue to devote ourselves to Hopewell and build up this Company. I have also witnessed Sir Gordon's heartfelt efforts and investments on renewable energy research and testing. I hope he will soon succeed and bring an environmental breakthrough to our world.
